What made You so special,
Small Babe on the hay?
The animals felt it,
But they couldn’t say.

Dear Joseph sensed it,
  Deep down in his soul,
  And vowed to protect You,
  From more than the cold.

Your dear mother knew it,
For she had been told,
But You were so young,
And the story so old.

And the Wise Men who traveled
  From countries afar,
  Saw You, a Baby,
  But knew who You were

Something about You,
Made angels draw near,
With songs full of joy,
For the whole world to hear.

  Safe in Your mother’s arms,
  Gently You nod…
  What makes You so special,
  Is that… You are God !
